Your first visit

What actually happens when you walk in

1

Someone greets you

No front desk queue, no forms to fill in standing up. A guide says hello and shows you where to put your things.

2

You talk before you sit

Thirty minutes to ask whatever you want to ask. This is the free consultation, and it is a conversation rather than a presentation.

3

You can try a session

If you want to, a guide takes you through a short guided session the same day. If you would rather not, nobody minds.

4

You decide in your own time

There is no follow-up pressure. Book your next session whenever you want to, at whatever pace suits your life.

Chami, meditation guide at Federal Way Meditation

Meet your guide

Chami

Meditating since 2002 · Guiding since 2011

I started meditating in 2002, and I have never stopped.

Meditation taught me how to build strength on the inside — how to stay steady through the ups and downs, how to keep learning, and how to see clearly where happiness actually comes from. That is how I live now: freely, and happily.

If I could do it, anyone can. That is why I became a guide, fifteen years ago.

What I am good at is listening, and then being clear: showing you exactly which part of the mind to put down, how to put it down, and making it simple enough — and enjoyable enough — that you want to come back tomorrow.
